I have a friend, Shirley, who experienced something similar. She has rescued kittens from a dumper and they now provide her with love and companionship.

What is with those who abandon creatures so carelessly? What if it were them, left to the elements? Have people forgotten to care for one another, no matter their lot in life. I have to say, I think we have lost our “soul”, our “caring”, our “connection” with others . I don’t quite know how or when this happened but I witness it each and everyday and it makes me sad.

Each one of us needs to take the time to listen, care, and connect. What else are we really here for?
