Winners is a perfect example. I was at their Signal Hill location for a quick visit looking for a gift for my mom. Thrilled when my husband found the perfect thing.. but my enthusiasm waned quickly thereafter as I waited in line with a few other customers as five (yes, five) of the staff stood talking to one another about why they thought Rachel McAdams was so adorable… now don’t get me wrong, I like her well enough, but we were in a rush and the ration of 5 staff to the three of us standing patiently seemed wrong somehow… Am I wrong? Sadly, we’ve come to expect crappy service and yet we still go back. Actually, I don’t think I will now having given it a second thought… Thanks Sue!
